A valuable food and resource worth protecting: Products that come into contact with water or through which water flows are subject to strict quality and safety standards. These include, for example, the DVGW product certification from the German Gas and Water Association: This confirms that the materials and substances that come into contact with drinking water are hygienically harmless and must not impair the quality of the drinking water specified in the Drinking Water Ordinance.
